Once again, I have taken a slightly different tack with this mug. I’m sure many of you, when researching mugs, have seen the Star Trek mug with the quote “There’s coffee in that there nebula”. It’s a bit weak as as a standalone phrase and I can’t understand why so many mug providers have used it (apart from jumping onto whatever bandwagon they thought they were jumping on, LOL). So putting those things together, I decided to add a bit more reality to it as well as maybe mocking the copycats.

So I’ve said, ‘Well I don’t care about the coffee in the nebula, what I care about is having it in my mug’. Wotya reckon?

I’m repeating myself here when I say that this was another coffee mug that I enjoyed creating. Not only did I use a typical Star Trek quote, “Power Source Fluctuation Detected…” but I also managed to slip in the word ‘engage’, which of course you will recognise (assuming you are a Trekkie fan reading this of course, if you’re not, then trust me, that word is often used, LOL).

I quite like this Star Trek coffee mug. Visions of drinking coffee to reset my ‘sensor array’, which could of course relate to any of my senses, was perfect for this coffee mug. ‘Reconfiguring the sensor array’ must be one of the most used sayings in so many of the Star Trek episodes. It certainly feels that way anyway.

Love this Star Trek coffee mug latest. Slightly different theme this time around.

This double-standard quote is one of those that really did make me ‘LOL’! This works on so many levels and I just had to add it to the mug collection. I hope you like it too.

There aren’t any mugs similar in theme to this one (so far at the time of writing) but there are two mugs which may make you smile that don’t use a specific Star Trek quote like this one doesn’t, here. This Star Trek funny mug: “Star Trek, Eat, Sleep, Energise” and this general Sci-Fi funny mug along similar lines: “Watch Sci-Fi, Eat, Sleep, Beam Me Up“, although that does of course make a Star Trek reference in it.

Yep, it’s a Star Trek coffee mug. My replicators must be working overtime. This is a familiar theme amongst my coffee mug designs – you’re having a bad day and need a good coffee pick-me-up, LOL. Or feel free to apply your own interpretation that makes you laugh! The nearest mug (so far at the time of writing) to the warp core, ie a power source, is the mug “I’m Detecting a Fluctuation in my Power Source“. So you could get both to have a source of energy at the ready any time, LOL.
