So, from a galaxy far, far away, or just beamed up or even freshly made in the replicator, we have a range of ceramic mugs that may be right for you or as a gift. You’ll recognise familiar sayings from TV episodes or movies (often with a coffee or tea twist!) and images you will instantly recognise.

Star Trek Mugs

The Star Trek mugs mostly feature famous sayings or quotes, but there are a few images where we’ve been able to use them. They make great Star Trek gifts for the devotee. Anything from the early Star Trek episodes to the later versions featuring say the Borg, we try to feature them somewhere.

Star Trek Gifts

The latter mugs make great Star Trek gifts for the Star Trek geek or Trekkie in your life, even if that’s you! These are quality mugs with great prints that will not wear off even if I say it myself. They are, of course, dishwasher and microwave-proof as well.

Star Wars Mugs

Perhaps a bit more unique to us is a range of original patents from Star Wars. We’ve obtained the original patents, tidied them up into something visually nice (although still retaining most of the original look) and printed them onto our mugs. You’ll find everything from the original design for characters to the space vehicles often seen in the films.

Take this Star Wars X-Wing mug we’ve produced. The original patent, from the US Patent Office, dated January 29th 1980, consisted of several pages of images plus a page of text. We’ve ignored the text and combined the pages of images into one, so they can all be displayed on one mug.

Apart from cleaning the images up by removing specks that were generated by the patent office copying, the images are exactly to the original. They make for really interesting coffee mugs or tea mugs.

Quality Mugs

All our mugs are top-quality ceramic, made to last and always dishwasher-safe- and microwave-proof. The print is created using dye sublimation, meaning the image won’t chip, scratch or fade.

So we use a combination of heat, pressure and time to transfer dye to the mug we’re printing. And since it’s a digital method we can use dye sublimation to achieve photo quality prints. And because heat and pressure are used the dyes cure to a permanent, high-resolution print (in full colour where appropriate).

The mugs have a nice weight and will hold approximately 11 fluid ounces or around 310ml. They are 96mm tall by 82mm wide.

Another feature that differentiates us from many other mug suppliers (at least at the time of writing this -we were ahead of most) is that our mugs are two-tone. You’ll probably notice that almost all mugs sold out there are plain white. Ours have a white body and a coloured handle and matching inside, making them visually appealing. We do offer white as well though for the budget-conscious.

The colours come in 12 different options:

Oh, and they are printed on both sides with the same image. That means they are suitable for left or right-handed people. Many mugs will be for coffee or tea drinkers, but you’ll notice that some make a specific reference to coffee. Don’t worry, for tea drinkers there is also the tea mug equivalent. So on either the coffee or tea mug page, you’ll see a link to the alternative. We try to cater for you all.
